Bon-Odori

Bon-Odori means "Bon-Dance" (Bon is a summer holiday dedicated to the ancestors) and is usually held in August.
However, in the foreign students dormitories the bon-odori was held in the end of June. We went over to the boys' dormitory and were dressed in Yukata (summer kimono). There were loads of food and many nice people, we had a great time.
Then we started to gather in a circle together with some elder japanese ladies who would perform the dances so that we could copy their moves... and then we danced, it was so much fun!
I ate so much that i got sick afterwards, but that was well worth it!
