Back at the village where my mom is from and my grandma and uncle are still living, it seems there's some kind of family tragedy happening.
Apparently, the son of a family that's quite close to my own has left home. He left a letter, telling his parents that he couldn't endure things anymore, and would therefore go away, but they should please not worry about him.
Then he just packed things up and left in secret.

The parents found out that he had not been at work for a few days (although he had left home everyday).

Right now, everyone is searching for him. Family and friends as well as the police. They tried localising his cell phone and it is said that he was seen in the village as well as some town close-by.
But do we know whether this is true? People might just have mistaken someone else for him.

He took his cash card with him, but as he didn't use it so far they had no chance of pinpointing him yet.

How desperate must one be to leave everything behind like that? I can't help feeling very sorry for him. For his parents as well, they are terrified and in shock of course.

I just hope that his letter was true and he really just planned to go away. You never know what a desperate person might do to himself.

If he really left home and went away, I'm quite sure he'll have to use his money sooner or later, so the police might find him.
Or maybe the reason for him suddenly going away was very spontaneous. In that case, he probably didn't plan things for too long, and if it was just an impromptu decision, his emotions might calm down the next days and he might return on his own.

God, this is some fucked up shit.



Update:

They found him at some village nearby. He's not injured or anything. They brought him home.

It appears that he had huge trouble with his boss at work a few days before. That must have been the ultimate reason for his escape.

I hope they'll figure things out in time.
