Oktoberfest

I will be going to Munich for the Oktoberfest this year. I am perfectly determined to go.

So I started looking for Dirndls.

At Kaufhof they've got quite a decent choice of sweet dirndls. Unfortunately, they are all more than 100€, when actually I didn't want to spend more than 100€ on the Dirndl, which means that I was going to buy one of the cheapest ones. Weeeell, my mom is sometimes getting 10% vouchers, so if I would decide on a Kaufhof Dirndl, I might be able to afford it.

I tried on 2 Dirndls. The first one I'll show you is a really beautiful one.


The see-through sleeve blouse caught my eye, it looked so sweet --- only not on me. My arms didn't match the blouse well. The colour is amazing. It's quite an expensive Dirndl, about 190€.
Come to think about it: soooo much money for a cut that COVERS my breasts instead of revealing it? Please check the front, there's cloth to purposely cover the breasts. What do you need a Dirndl for at all then???

The lenght was ok, but actually I had thought about getting one of the really short Dirndls.Why cover my knees when they look so good?
So all in all, this Dirndl was a clear "NO". Still, it was fun to try it on.

The other one was a Mini Dirndl that I really liked. Biiiiig breasts, a short skirt, a cute apron and a very simple basic blouse.
I think this simple white fabric suits me much better than some see-through stuff. I'm a Bauer.



Well, I didn't buy any Dirndl yet. I'll keep my eyes open for C&A. Usually they get some Dirndl clothing in stock when the Oktoberfest draws nearer, so I have more time.

I might not buy a Dirndl at all though. When I came home after my shopping trip my mom told me she actually owned one. She only gave me the dress, but the blouse and apron are in some different place, so she'll search for them later. The dress is a beautiful dark green with pink roses. It is not at all what I was going for, but I think it might turn out really nice.
My mom already warned me that the blouse will be quite chastely. So I suppose I might order a different blouse for the Dirndl. I MUST HAVE ENORMOUS BREASTS no matter what.

Anyway, I'll wait for my mom to show me the rest of the Dirndl, so that I can really try it on and make my decision.
