SHOPPING!!!

I worked a lot these last weeks, and I earned some money even on New Year's Eve. I also got some money for christmas.

So what to do with all those worthless pieces of paper?
Buy something with them, of course!

So my beloved cousin, who's currently in town but will leave for LA too soon :( , and I went to the B5 Outlet Center in the coolest area of Brandenburg. (More than half of my family is living there, so I have to write that.)
The weather was brilliant. There was so much snow and the sky was clear and.... oh wait. It was freezing. That minor detail was not so brilliant after all.

Still, we went through all the shops and tried on a lot of clothes. I even bought some stuff.

At Mango, I bought a nice Coat with short sleeves (Thanks to my cousin for convincing me). I fell in love with the gorgeous large buttons and the wide, elbow-length sleeves. I wore my short black pants that day, so when I put on the coat, the pants were not visible and I looked as if I wasn't wearing pants at all, but just black tights. My cousin said that's a definite no-go, but actually, I felt kind of Sixties Chick like, and when I pull down the pants a few centimeters, the rim becomes visible, so I think it'll be ok.

We also went to the Miss Sixty Store. I was especially excited on this one, as I had waited for it to open for almost 6 months and I really like Miss Sixty clothes, but I don't like the prizes.
As expected the store did not have the super unbelievably hot and sexy boots I had secretly hoped for (and even if they did have them, my shoe size of 7 would probably not have been in stock), but they did have a reasonably good choice of clothes. I tried on a few dresses, but each one was worse than the other. Not only do they have terrible necklines, but they also seem to assume that either no woman that buys Miss Sixty has breasts big enough to require a bra, or they try to convince the world that visible backsides of bras are sexy.
Dear Miss Sixty Designers: Bras should not be visible. Please keep that in mind when designing the back of a dress.
However, I found a wonderful dark grey pullover that I fell in love with right away. Unfortunately, they didn't have my size anymore, but they did have one in green. So I took the green one. I was a little disappointed, as I had liked the grey one better, but now, a few hours later, I came to the conclusion that the green is so beautiful and nice that it would have been the better choice anyway.

The Fossil store was a little disappointing. I found one bag I really liked, it had a cool zebra style design. But come to think of it, the chances that zebra will still be hot in 2 years is close to zero. And if I buy a bag for 100 bucks, I expect to wear it a little longer.
Haaaah, still, it was beautiful.

Then I wanted to get some long gloves to go with my new coat. Mango had a choice of some really nice looking ones, buuuuuut when it comes to leather gloves, unisize is a bad idea. Well, either that or my arms are really fat and ugly. Not only were my fingers a little to long, it was also impossible to close the zip, even though my cousin helped. What a shame! I mean, my hands are pretty small. Not tiny, but they can definitely not be considered "big".

We went to Berlin afterwards and headed for Kaufhof, where I found a pair of pretty cool white leather gloves that fittet my arms very well. They were even on sale! However, 90€ is still too much for a stupid pair of gloves.
I searched through all low - and medium-prized fashion shops in the Alexa Mall and tried to find a pair of cheap gloves. I found some white gloves at H&M for 2.49€. Hurray!
At first, I was not very glad, for those gloves leave the fingertips free, but then again, this will make it so much easier to handle my iPod Touch without having to take the glove on and off all the time.
