Today I was really late for university.
Well, tough luck, but I had NEEDED the time to fix my gorgeous eye make-up. You want to look your best when it's the super hot tutor doing the tutorial of doom.
So I arrived like 5 minutes late, but the room's door was still open, so I entered aaaand----
Not the tutor standing there, but the professor, preparing his lecture (sometimes they switch days, so that on tutorial day they do a lecture, and on lecture day they do the tutorial).
Well, nice ass for a professor, but NOTHING compared to sweet H, who's just gorgeous.
Too bad. Anyway, I sat down while the professor continued to prepare his lecture. In the door I noticed a girl who half entered the room, spotted the professor, and her face was all like "ahm.... NOPE." and she turned on the spot and left the room.
So I wondered: Did she get the wrong room? Or, which seems more likely: Did she see that it was the professor (= no tutorial today, but lecture) and decided that she'd rather stay out then?
The professor started his lecture and I thought he was kind of strange. Might have been because I, who usually sits pretty far behind in the room, was in second row today, but I thought he was strange. He seemed to have trouble finding the correct words, taking breaks inbetween his sentences, like he couldn't concentrate.
After 10 minutes or so, he suddenly said "Ok, so we've covered this, and now I'll show you guys how to....[...]..., but first, we'll have a 5 minute break. I'll tell you the reason when I'll be back." And off he was, leaving the room quite fast.
Well, 5 minutes? Enough to get a nice tea, I thought, and I went to the cafeteria just vis-à-vis the room. Who was standing there, with a chocolate bar and sweet soda, waiting in line at the counter?
Yup, the professor.
Haha, so even professors get hungry, I thought. Still, I wondered why he hadn't bought something before starting the lecture..... As he hadn't done that, it was strange that he didn't wait until his lecture was over, but rushed out of the room like that.
When we continued the lecture he started "Well, those of you who have a case of diabetes in the family will know that when your blood sugar level suddenly drops, you can have serious trouble in finding the right words..." (referring to his loss of words earlier)
Whoa, so that was why he had been like that.
The rest of the lecture was as usual, but I kept on thinking that this made him much more human to me. So he has diabetes.... Not that it would matter to me, it was just interesting to know.
Professors are human. Can you believe it?
